Section C教学目标Students can master the use of new words, phrases and sentences know how to use the perfect present talk about the changes in a place. use topic sentences to help us understand or write a passage. figure out the meaning of a new word from the context.教学重点Words and phrases: narrow, communication, report, relative, develop, since, satisfy, medical, machine, rapid, progress, already, be crowded into, receive a good education, keep in touch with, whats more, make progress, succeed in doing sth.       Grammar: Present Perfect Reading skills①Talk about the changes in a place.②Use topic sentences to help us understand or write a passage.③Figure out the meaning of a new word from the context.教学难点Students know how to use the perfect present correctly and how to use the topic sentences.教学准备Teacher preparation: Make a multimedia courseware, know enough about the key points  Student Preparation: Preview the passage in Section C            教学过程Warm-up and Lead-in:①Enjoy a video (China is changing every day) to lead in the topic change. ②Use the question “Do you know what changes China have?” and some pictures to lead the students to answer the question. Then show todays topic.show the learning aims. New learning:Pre-reading:(1)Learn the use of new words.(2)Learn the use of key phrases. While-reading:(3)Scan the passage in 1a and let the students answer the main idea of the passage.(4)Finish 1b.(5)Finish 1c. (6)Read 1a again and circle the key points. Ask some students say the meanings of them.(7)Show the right meanings of the key points in the passage. Post-reading:(8)Find sentences that havehave/has donein the passage.(9)Enjoy a video(The song of the perfect present) and review the perfect present.(10)Finish 2.  Make a summary of today’s learning(1)Key words:narrow, communication, report, relative, develop, since, satisfy, medical,  machine, rapid, progress, already(2)Some phrases:be crowded into, receive a good education, keep in touch with, what’s more, make progress, succeed in doing sth.   (3)GrammarThe Present Perfect Tense  (4)Reading skills①Talk about the changes in a place.②Use topic sentences to help us understand or write a passage.③Figure out the meaning of a new word from the context.板书设计Topic 1  Our country has developed rapidly.Section C课后作业1Finish the exercises in your workbook;2.
