    What’s the Secret f Our Height?
    Have yu ever wanted t be taller? Perhaps we all have wished fr this, whether we’re trying t see ver a crwd f peple r dreaming f becming a basketball player. Height is mainly a result f genetics (遗传), thugh ther factrs like nutritin and healthcare can als influence ur height.
    Accrding t Wrld Data, the average height fr Chinese men is 1.71 meters, while fr wmen it’s 1.59 meters. But what stps us frm grwing t three meters r even taller? The answer is evlutin (进化), accrding t a study frm Harvard University.

Over millins f years, natural selectin has influenced the way ur rgans (器官) grw and therefre the way ur bdies grw t. In general, the genes that are respnsible fr rgan grwth are quite active in infants (婴儿), causing them t grw rapidly. But as children get lder, the genes slacken. Eventually, as they enter late adlescence, the genes turn ff and teenagers reach their adult height.
