教学内容:7B Unit1 Dream homes Reading(2)学生活动及备注札记 Free talkAsk and answer some questions Talk about homes Practise names of rooms Listen to me carefully Talk about dream homes Listen to the tape answer questions Read passagesAnswer questions Do some exercises Read the text after me Have a discussion Do more exercises and check the answers 学习目标:1、To talk about different rooms. 2、Have a discussion in groups, and talk about their dream homes. 3、Write articles about students’ dream homes.教学重点: Have a discussion in groups, and talk about their dream homes. 教学难点:Have a discussion in groups, and talk about their dream homes. 教学过程预设一、导入新课Step 1 Revision: 1.Look at pictures to review different rooms in your homes.2.Have a free talk:Where would you like to live , a flat or a house? Why? How many rooms are there in your home? What are they? Which room do you like best? Why? Make sentences one by one. 3.Do some exercises about different rooms二、学习新课Step 2 Presentation1.Teacher says :My dream home isn’t a flat because it is too small. I wouldn’t like to live in a palacebecause it is very big.My dream home isn’t in a big city. It is in a town near the sea. When I am free, I can walk on the beach and enjoy the sunshine. It is a wooden house. Do you like my dream home?2.Ask Ss to talk about their dream homes in pairs.Step 3 Reading1. In China, most of us live in tall buildings. What about people in other countries? Do you know about the homes in different countries? Today ,we will read three passages about homes. 2. Listen to the tape and answer some questions. Where are they from? Are there homes the same?3. Ask Ss to read each passage and then answer more questions to know details.Anna: Where does he live? Where is her house?Who lives with her in her house?Neil: Where is Neil from? What does his mother do in his favourite room?4.Ask Ss to do B2, B3 on P9-10.Then check the answers.5.Ask Ss to read the text after me.三、课堂演练Step 4: Discussion: 1. Pair work: Whose home do you like best? Why?2.Do more exercises and check the answers.四、课堂小结1.look out (at) …e.g. Don’t look out at the beach..look at / around / for / like / forward to / after / up2.
