第三课时 Section B (1a-1e)◇目标导航◇ 类别课时要点重点单词pronounce v.发音increase v.增加;增长speed n.速度重点短语spoken English英语口语make mistakes犯错误 重点句型1.I don’t know how to increase my reading speed.我不知道如何提高我的阅读速度。2.I don’t know enough words to write well.我会的单词不够多,写不好作文。3.Maybe you should join an English club.或许你应该加入一个英语俱乐部。教学重点1.让学生学会各种学习方法和策略的表达。2.培养学生用正确而科学的方法去做事的能力。教学难点培养学生的听力技能和模仿对话的能力,有针对性地解决口头输出困难的学生的问题。 ◇教学过程◇预习指导一、方法指导1.预习Page 5上的生词,根据音标能读出这些词,并掌握其词性和汉语意思。2.朗读1a中的句子,找出重点短语。3.浏览1c和1d中的句子,预测听力所涉及的话题和内容。4.大声朗读1e的对话,并与搭档交流。二、预习检测汉译英1.提高阅读速度 increase reading speed 2.在语法方面犯错 make mistakes in grammar 3.练习说/写 practice speaking/writing 4.纠正发音 get the pronunciation right 课堂教学Step 1 Leading in1.Greet the class.2.Brainstorming:Interview individual students,like this:T:How do you practice speaking?S1:By having conversations with friends.T:Do you learn English by doing grammar exercises?S2:...3.Practice with more students.Step 2 Work on 1a-1b1.Ask the students to read the sentences in 1a,and check the statements that are true for them,and present the new words while doing it.2.Ask the students to finish 1b.(1)Ask the students to think about the question “What other things are difficult for you?” and add the answers to the list in 1b.(2)Ask some pairs of students to do like this:S1:I can’t pronounce some of the words.S2:Well,some of the words can be difficult to read.You could ask the teacher or other classmates for help.Another good way is by listening to a tape.3.The teacher gives proper advice,and then let the students give advice by themselves.Step 3 Work on 1c-1d1.Ask the students to read the sentences in 1c and 1d.Then let them prepare for the listening.2.Play the tape and ask the students to finish the task in 1c.3.Play the tape again and ask the students to finish the task in 1d.4.Play the tape for a third time and let the students follow and understand the dialogue.Step 4 Work on 1e1.Ask the students to make conversations in pairs using the information in 1c and 1d.Ask several pairs to act them out.2.Ask the students to write a report,talking about the difficulties and the advice,and then share their ideas in front of the class.◇教学反思◇ 本课时以师生互动讨论的形式引出本课的主要话题,有利于老师发现学生面临的问题。通过听力练习的两个活动帮助学生了解了听力材料的主要内容,并让学生在听对话写词方面的能力得到提高。最后让学生两人一组进行对话练习,通过对话练习帮助学生灵活掌握语言,并让学生归纳梳理了学习方面的困难及解决办法,提前为写作课做准备。
