    第四课时 Section B (2a-2e)目标导航  类别课时要点重点单词Christmas n.圣诞节lie v.存在;平躺;处于dead adj.死的;失去生命的business n.生意;商业punish v.处罚;惩罚warn v.警告;告诫present n.现在;礼物 adj.现在的warmth n.温暖;暖和spread v.传播;展开 n.蔓延;传播重点短语read between the lines体会言外之意care about 关心wake up醒来;唤醒end up 最终成为;最后处于重点句型1.A Christmas Carol is a famous short novel written by Charles Dickens.《圣诞欢歌》是查尔斯·狄更斯创作的一部著名的短篇小说。2.He just cares about whether he can make more money and he hates Christmas.他只关心他是否能赚到更多的钱,并且他讨厌圣诞节。重点句型3.He is so scared that he wakes up in his bed and finds out it is only the next morningChristmas Day!他害怕极了,从睡梦中醒来,发现只是到了第二天早上——圣诞节!教学重点1.让学生能在具体的情景中正确使用本课时的新词汇和短语。2.让学生理解并掌握宾语从句的结构和功能。3.培养学生的推断能力和精读方面的能力。教学难点1.通过让学生回答问题,达到让其理解短文的目的。2.培养学生的综合阅读理解能力。 教学过程预习指导一、方法指导1.预习Page 14上的生词,根据音标能读出这些词,并掌握其词性和汉语意思。2.朗读2b的文章,试着理解文章意思。3.跟着录音朗读文章。二、预习检测用方框中所给单词的适当形式填空warm,mean,lie,die,busy,warn1.The pet dogs death made Rose very sad. 2.Do you know the Chinese meaning of the new word? 3.My father works in the computer business . 4.The sun gives us warmth and light. 5.He lay on the grassland and counted the stars in the sky. 6.The policeman has  warned the young man about his careless driving. 课堂教学Step 1 Leading in1.Greeting.2.Let the students listen to the English song When Christmas Comes to Town together.Then have the students answer the questions below:(1)What festival is the song about?(2)What do you know about this festival?Step 2 Work on 2a1.Present some questions and have the students discuss in groups:(1)When is Christmas?(Its on December 25th.)(2)What activities do people have at Christmas?(They have Christmas party, decorate Christmas trees, give presents and many other celebrations.)(3)Do you know what the symbols of Christmas are?(Christmas trees, Santa Claus...)(4)Do you know any stories about Christmas?(A Christmas Carol...)2.Let the students create a mind map about Christmas.(Show some pictures about Christmas to help them while answering.)Step 3 Work on 2b1.T:Through discussions, we have known something about Christmas.Today well read a story about Christmas.Present the new words and ask the students to read the passage quickly and guess their meanings.Teach the new words and ask the students to repeat, and then do some explanations.2.Have the students listen to the passage carefully, then read the passage quickly and look for the key phrases and sentences as they read, and say what the story tells us.3.Have the students read the passage and answer the three questions below:(1)What are the common things that people think of for Christmas?(2)Who wrote A Christmas Carol?(3)What is the true meaning or spirit of Christmas?4.Correct the answers with the whole class.Step 4 Work on 2c1.Let the students read the passage in 2b,then complete the chart in 2c.2.Let the students discuss these questions and check the answers with the students.Step 5 Work on 2d-2e1.Let the students read the passage in 2b again,and answer the questions in 2d.2.Ask the students to think about the question in 2e:What do you think the three ghosts say to Scrooge when they visit him?3.Ask the students to work in groups of four and make a conversation between the three ghosts and Scrooge.4.Choose one group to roleplay the conversation in front of the class.教学反思  本课时以讨论问题和完成思维导图的形式引入到教学重点,2b的文章阅读中。通过让学生反复阅读文章,加深学生对内容的理解和掌握。通过多种手段培养学生的学习兴趣,让其在文章中体会宾语从句的结构和功能。通过让学生带着问题去阅读然后再回答问题的方式培养学生的细节理解能力和推理判断能力。同时,本课时引导学生利用推断阅读策略理解圣诞的真正含义。通过探讨圣诞节的含义,让学生感受关爱,激发他们的同情、怜悯之心,从而在未来以爱心来回报社会。
