    第二课时 Section A (3a-4c)目标导航  类别课时要点重点单词tiny adj.极小的;微小的cry v.& n.;叫喊field n.田野;场地lift v.举起;抬高n.电梯;搭便车badly adv.严重地;;非常awful adj.很坏的;讨厌的regret v.& n.感到遗憾;懊悔poem n.;韵文chance n.机会;可能性educate v.教育;教导manage v.完成(困难的事);应付(困难局面)society n.社会重点短语stay by ones side待在某人身边;陪伴某人make sure 确保lift sb.up 把某人举起来talk back 回嘴;顶嘴keep...away from避免接近;远离make ones own decision 自己做决定重点句型1.When I was a tiny baby crying all night,my mom sang to me and stayed by my side.当我还是个整夜哭闹的小宝宝时,妈妈会陪伴在我身旁,给我唱歌。2.I regret talking back,not listening to Mom.我后悔顶嘴了,没有听妈妈的话。3.Do you think teenagers should be encouraged to make their own decisions?你认为应该鼓励青少年自己做决定吗?教学重点1.让学生掌握本课时的重点单词、短语和句型。教学重点2.让学生理解和掌握含有情态动词的被动语态的用法。3.让学生在朗读中体会英文诗歌的节奏和韵律,体会诗歌的情感和意境。教学难点让学生掌握含有情态动词should的被动语态结构should be+动词的过去分词教学过程预习指导一、方法指导1.预习Page 51-52的生词,根据音标能读出这些词,并掌握其词性和汉语意思。2.朗读3a的文章,找出重点句子。3.大声朗读Grammar Focus中的句子,试着翻译成汉语,并画出重点短语和句型。二、预习检测.根据句意用所给词的适当形式填空1.Lin Tao thinks he is old enough to make his own decision (decide). 2.In China,its very important for teenagers to get the college education (educate). 3.As a teenager,we should get more chance to do some social (society) work. 4.At the meeting,Amy  disagreed (agree) with Mr.Liu about this wrong activity. 5.In China,smoking isnt allowed (allow) in public places. 课堂教学Step 1 Leading in1.Greet the class.2.Quickly talk about the rules:T:Do you think sixteenyearolds should be allowed to drive?S1:Yes,I agree...S2:No,I dont agree...3.Ask the students to say some rules they agree or disagree.Step 2 Work on 3a1.Help the students understand the demand in 3a and show the title on the board.Ask what the title means.2.Get the students to look at the picture and the text quickly.Help them understand its a poem and ask them about the content of the poem.Get them to express their own ideas and teach the new words in the poem.3.Lead the students to read the poem and answer these questions:Who do you think wrote the poem?How old was the writer in the poem?What did he write about the poem?Why did he write the poem?Step 3 Work on 3b1.Lead the students to read aloud the passage again.2.Ask the students to answer the questions in 3b.3.Check the answers with the whole class.Step 4 Work on 3cMake the students work in pairs and finish the task in 3c.Step 5 Work on Grammar Focus1.Ask two students to read aloud the sentences in the Grammar Focus.2.Get the students to look back at the sentences which are written in the passive voice.Find out and summarize the structure should/may be+done...”3.Review those sentences in Unit 5 and Unit 6.Write them on the blackboard to explain the structure of the passive voice:(1)He cleans his bedroom every day.→His bedroom is cleaned by him every day.(2)He cleaned his bedroom yesterday.→His bedroom was cleaned by him yesterday.(3)He should clean his bedroom in the morning.→His bedroom should be cleaned in the morning.4.Let the students sum up the changing rules.Step 6 Work on 4a1.Use PPT to show the five sentences and get the students to rewrite them according to the example.2.Check the answers with the whole class.Step 7 Work on 4b1.Make the students work by themselves to finish the task in 4b.2.Check the answers with the whole class.Step 8 Work on 4c1.Make the students get to know what to do.2.Assign tasks to each group and get them to think of rules for these activities.3.Ask one group to report their rules and make others write down the points.教学反思  本课时进一步学习有关规则的内容。通过3a的文章阅读,提高了学生的阅读能力,并使学生初步掌握诗歌的阅读和理解技巧。在语法方面,通过讨论和小组学习,总结了情态动词被动语态的规则。同时,在教学中贯穿了情感教育,让学生明白接受父母、老师的合理化建议的重要性,同时也要有自己的观点,学会表达自己对某一件事同意还是不同意的观点和理由。本课时将知识学习和技能学习相结合,让学生在阅读文章的同时做了相关的练习,从而加深学生对文章的理解。对学生在学习的过程中遇到的一些问题,能够做到及时处理,让学生真正做到当堂消化所学内容,积累语言知识。
