第一课时 Section A (1a-2d)◇目标导航◇ 类别课时要点重点单词Australian adj.澳大利亚(人)的n.澳大利亚人electronic adj.电子的;电子设备的suppose v.推断;料想smooth adj.悦耳的;平滑的spare adj.空闲的;不用的v.抽出;留出director n.导演;部门负责人war n.战争;战争状态重点短语sing along with 跟着一起唱dance to跟着跳舞重点句型1.Carmen likes musicians who play different kinds of music.卡门喜欢演奏不同种类音乐的音乐家。2.I like smooth music that helps me relax after a long week at work.我喜欢悦耳的音乐,它可以帮助我在一周的工作之后放松一下。教学重点1.让学生掌握本课时的重点单词、短语和句型。2.让学生掌握that和who引导的定语从句的用法。教学难点让学生掌握关系代词that和who引导的定语从句。◇教学过程◇预习指导一、方法指导1.预习Page 65-66上的生词,根据音标能读出这些词,并掌握其词性和汉语意思。2.朗读1a-2c中的句子,试着翻译。3.和搭档分角色朗读2d中的对话。二、预习检测用方框中所给单词或短语的适当形式填空dance to,along with,spare,suppose1.Aunts are dancing to loud music on the square. 2.Tina along with my sister is going to the theater tonight. 3.Can you spare some time for an interview,please? 4.You’re supposed to come earlier to help with the music. 课堂教学Step 1 Leading in1.Greet the class.2.Review some words and expressions about music.3.Guide the students to collect some words about music,such as quiet,loud,slow,serious,sad,pop,folk,rap...Step 2 Work on 1a1.Ask “What kind of music do you like?Why do you like it?” Then explain the sentences according to the students’ answers,like this:So you like music that can make you relax.Let the students write the sentences on the blackboard.2.Get the students to look at the picture and circle the sentences they agree with in 1a.Help the students to learn the structure:I like/prefer/love music that...And help them learn the phrases:have great lyrics,sing along with,dance to the music.3.Lead the students to read aloud the sentences.Ask them to say out their own sentences.Step 3 Work on 1b1.Read the instruction in 1b.2.Play the recording for the first time and ask the students to complete the chart.3.Play the recording for a second time and check the answers.Step 4 Work on 1c1.Make the students in pairs,and ask them to make conversations about the music that they like according to the example sentences.2.Ask several pairs to act out their conversations to the class.Step 5 Work on 2a-2b1.Play the recording for the students to finish the task in 2a.Then ask the students to correct the wrong parts and read out the right sentences.2.Make the students scan the contents in the chart in 2b.Play the recording again,and ask them to listen and fill in the details.3.Check the answers with the whole class.Ask them to read out the full sentences.Step 6 Work on 2cGet the students to make conversations using the information in 2a and 2b.Step 7 Work on 2d1.Talk about the weekend plan and try to let the students enter into the language situation.Introduce the situation of the conversation.2.Ask the students to answer some questions after they read the conversation.3.Help the students learn the new items.4.Make the students work in pairs and practice the conversation.5.Then ask several pairs to act out the conversation.◇教学反思◇ 本课时学生初步接触和了解了that和who引导的定语从句,并且通过学习本课时的话题,能够听懂有关描述喜好的对话并准确地用英语表达。本课时涉及的重点单词和短语较多,在句型方面,学生要掌握用“I like/love/prefer music that...”表达自己喜欢的音乐类型。本课时提升了学生音乐方面的素养,也对学生的能力培养有很好的作用。
