第四部分 写作
第一节:
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Li Hua. I would like to work as a volunteer for 2022 Beijing-Zhangjiakou Winter Olympic Games. I’m a boy of eighteen years old from a high school. My spoken English is good and I can communicate with foreigners fluently. What’s more, I have other advantages---- I’m especially fond of sports, familiar with Beijing, good at communication and always glad to help others. I’m willing to provide the best service for every athlete in the Winter Olympic Games. Therefore, I think I’m suitable for serving the Games.
I would appreciate it if you could offer me the chance to be a volunteer.
Thank you!
Yours,
Li Hua

【官方范文】The older brother helped the carpenter get the materials ready and then he was off for the day. The carpenter worked hard all that day, measuring, sawing, digging and nailing. About sunset when the older brother returned, the carpenter had just finished his job. The older brother's eyes opened wide and his jaw dropped. There was no fence there at all; instead there was a bridge....a bridge stretching from one side of the creek to the other.
The neighbour, his younger brother, was coming across the bridge merrily with his hand outstretching to the older brother. “You are quite a fellow to build this bridge after all I've said and done,” he said. The two brothers then met in the middle of the bridge, taking each other's hand and embraced. Their conflict was finally at an end. They then turned to see the carpenter hoist his toolbox on his shoulder. “No, wait. Please stay a few days. I've a lot of other projects for you,” said the older brother. “I'd love to stay on,” the carpenter said, “but, I have many more bridges to build.”
【考场范文一】The older brother helped the carpenter get the materials ready and then he was off for the day. Thinking for a while, the carpenter decided to build a bridge rather than a 2-meter-high fence because he knew that only a bridge full of love and understanding could make the older brother truly happy. Then, he took action, using the materials to build a bridge. During his building process, the younger brother noticed him and asked why. The carpenter replied ,“Your older brother feels sorry to you and wants to make up for it.” Hearing this, the younger brother fell into silence and left. The next day, the older brother came back, only to find a bridge and a moving scene.
The neighbour, his younger brother, was coming across the bridge merrily with his hand outstretching to the older brother .“Brother, forgive me and my mean behavior,” younger brother said sincerely, walking to the front of his older brother. Suddenly, like an iceberg melting in the heart, the older brother hugged his deeply sorry brother tightly, apologizing, “No, it is my fault. I shouldn’t fight against you for a small misunderstanding. But of course, we are nice brothers again!” Standing by the side, the carpenter smiled deep down. In fact, little misunderstanding cannot be avoided. But a caring and understanding heart can prevent it from being a larger conflict.
【考场范文二】The older brother helped the carpenter get the materials ready and then he was off for the day. “I should do something to help them. Two brothers should not be divided by a stream.” The carpenter thought. So he decided to use these materials to build a bridge. So hard-working was he that he prepared all works of a bridge only within a few days. The last thing that needed to be done was to ask the younger brother for approval and help. He crossed the stream and lied to the younger brother that it was his brother’s plan. So excited was he that he spared no efforts to help. This day, his brother returned.
The neighbour, his younger brother, was coming across the bridge merrily with his hand outstretching to the older brother .Without thinking twice, he held his younger brother’s hands tightly. “Your plan to build up a bridge is great!” Surprised to hear these words, the older brother just understood all the unusual facts. It was the carpenter that helped them get back. The two brothers hugged together, both grinning from ear to ear, shedding tears of excitement. From that day on, two brothers always gathered on the bridge, fishing together. It is believed that a small act of kindness, just as the carpenter did above, is bound to make a huge difference. 读后续写
