观察句子中be的形式。
一般过去时表示过去某一时间发生的动作或存在的状态，经常与表示过去的时间状语连用。如：yesterday，the day befre yesterday，last week，last mnth， last year，a mment ag，just nw， in 2021等。
e.g. I was late fr schl this mrning. Susan wasn’t brn in Shanghai. Were yur parents at hme yesterday? Where were yu brn?
动词be的过去式形式：am，is的过去式为_____; are的过去式为_____。
肯定句式：主语+ was / were + 其他.否定句式：主语+ was / were + nt +其他.一般疑问句式： Was/Were+主语 +其他?肯定回答：Yes, 主语+was / were.否定回答：N, 主语+wasn’t / weren’t.
动词be的过去时四巧：1. 时间状语巧，表示过去的短语要记牢；2. 形式巧，单数was，复数were；3. 否定句结构巧，nt紧跟was／were；4. 疑问句式巧，was／were向前跑(提前)。
