    Teaching Prcedures:
    Step 1.Warm-up
    Warm greeting t students
    T: Hell everyne! Gd mrning! / Hi everyne! Gd mrning!
    S: Hell! Mrs Wang. Gd mrning! /Hi! Mrs Wang. Gd mrning!
    T: Hw are yu tday?
    S: Gd. Thank yu. Hw are yu?
    T: Nt bad. Thanks fr asking.
    Step 2. Lead-in
    Play a guessing game using sme pictures n PwerPint presentatin.
    Shw students the pictures f sme famus peple like Michael Jacksn; Xiena; Jackie Chen, etc. Have students guess the names f thse peple by using fllwing sentences:
    T: What’s his/her name?
    S: His/Her name is
    T: Yu are right!/ N, he/ she isn’t. His/Her name is...
    Step 3. Vcabulary and Key Sentences
    . Have students write English wrds fr the things in the picture f 1a.
    2). Teacher leads students t learn new wrds with pictures, and learn key sentences with dialgues n PwerPint. Leads students t read and then let them read the new wrds and key sentences by themselves.
    Step 4. Whle-class wrk & Pair Wrk
    Play the tape f 1b. Students listen and number the cnversatin.
    Listen again and practice the cnversatin in 1b with partner.
    Step 5. Whle-class wrk
    Play the tape f 2a. Students listen t the cnversatin and number the pictures.
    Listen again and students circle the names they hear in 2b.
    Step 6. Pair Wrk
    Practice the cnversatins in Pairs:
    A: Hell! What’s yur name?
    B: My name is...
    A: I’m...
    B: Nice t meet yu!
    A: What’s his name?
    B: His name is...
    A: And what’s her name?
    B: Her name’s...
    Step 7. Rle-play the Cnversatin.
    A: Gd mrning!/Gd afternn! My name is... Are
    B: Yes, I am. Nice t meet yu, ...
    A: Nice t meet yu, t. What’s her/his name?
    B: She’s/He’s
    A: Is she/he

    Step 8. Pair Wrk
    Have students wrk in pairs t intrduce themselves and greet each ther prperly.
    Randmly ask sme students t present their pair wrk t class.
