一、学情分析
所带班级属于农村初级中学，学生来自附近乡镇，有的学校在小学开设英语课，属于摆设；有的学校甚至没有专业英语老师，没法开英语课程。由于学生的基础相当薄弱，水平不一，所以我在教学的过程中会尽量通过丰富多彩的信息技术活动，多媒体播放音视频，生动活泼的课件展示，让所有学生都参与到活动中来，从而激发学生的学习兴趣、提高学习积极性和自信心。
二、教材分析
本单元的中心话题是运用一些描述性的词语来描述一些动物，并说明自己对这些动物喜好的原因；这一课时同时要求学生认识到人类对动物的危害，进行热爱动物的情感教育。
三、教学目标设计

本节课教学全方位多层次积极引导学生参与到教学活动中，图片猜谜游戏导入新课、分组制作阅读思维导图、播放电影进行保护动物保护环境的情感教育；教学最后成功地把活动Hw t prtect them交由学生讨论并制定RULES，引导学生利用第四单元祈使句结构Dn’，巩固了祈使句的应用，达到学以致用的目的。
