本单元就是学习描述人们日常出行的主要方式和一般现在时,它与学生的日常生活紧密联系。Section B的教学是在学习完成Section A的基础上展开的,重视读和写的能力,设置了运用所学语言知识去完成的阅读任务,使学生对所学知识能够进一步巩固。
二 学习目标
1 语言知识目标
(1)掌握重点词汇及短语
cross,river,many,villager,between.....and...,
bridge,boat,go on a ropeway ,an 11-year-old boy,be afraid,be like, leave,come true,dream
(2)掌握重点句型
It is easy to get to school.
There is a very big river between their school and the village.
Do you walk or ride a bike?
Can their dream come true?
He’s like a father to me.
2 过程与方法
(1)通过略读,寻找短文的中心意思,从而锻炼学生快速捕捉重要信息的能力。
(2)学会“查读”,寻找文章的细节知识点,从而进一步了解短文的内容。
3 情感态度与价值目标
主要通过一篇报道来介绍偏远山区孩子上学的方式,从而告诉同学们今天的幸福生活来之不易,大家要珍惜。
三 教学重难点
重点:掌握本节课的词汇及句型。
难点;会做任务型阅读。
四 教学方法
1 讲授法
2任务型语言模式---以学生为中心,把教学目标融入到各个教学任务中去,学生完成任务的过程就是课堂教学的过程。学生在教师的指导下通过实践与探索发现语言规律,从而体会到成功的喜悦。

六 教学过程
I Warming—up and Lead in.
T:Good morning ,everyone.
S:Good morning ,teacher.
T:How do you get to school?(图片展示)
S1:I take the bus.
S2:I get to school by train
S3:I....
T: Please look at the picture.(PPT展示孩子滑铁索过河的图片)What can you see?How do they get to school?
S:I can see .....
T:Good job.They go on a ropeway to cross the river.(教师板书标题 Crossing the River to School讲解并领读标题及短语go on a ropeway)
II Presentation
T:Listen to the tape about the passage.(学生听录音跟读) Then give you 5 minutes to read the passage and answer the question.(学生默读短文,并用笔画出问题的答案。)
III Explain
1 教师PPT展示第一段,讲解重难点短语及句型。
How do you get to school? Do you walk or ride a bike?
(选择疑问句) Do you go by bus or by train?For many studets,it is easy to get to school.(It’s +adj+to do sth)But for the students in one small village in China,it is difficult.There is a very big river between their school and the village (There be 句型遵循就近原则)。There is no bridge and the river runs too quickly for boats. So these students go on a ropeway to cross the river to school。
2 回答第一题和第二题。(引导学生注意正确的语言表达)
3 教师讲解第二段重难点,回答第三小题。
One 11-year old boy ,Liangliang,crosses ( 穿过,相当于go across)the river every school day .But he is not afraid (be afraid of doing sth). “I love to play with my classmates.And I love my teacher.He’s like a father to me.”(be like像)
4 教师讲解第三段,并讨论第四小题。(学生可以积极讨论,持有不同的观点。)
Many of(后接名词或代词,许多) the students and villagers never leave the village.It is their dream to have a bridge .Can their dream come true(实现)?
5 教师让学生把重点短语和句型板书到黑板上。(这种方式有助于学生养成独立思考和总结知识点的能力,同时可以及时订正学生出现的错误。)
