    Unit 3  How do you get to schoolSection B (2a-2c) 年级:班级:授课老师:科目:__单元第___课时年级组长:教学内容:本节课是阅读课,内容主要是描述一个村庄里的学生要艰难跨越河流才能抵达学校的故事,通过阅读文章帮助同学们学习新知识,锻炼阅读技巧。三维教学目标知识目标 学生能够理解新单词,短语和句型的意思,掌握它们的用法。单词:cross, river, many, village, between, bridge, boat, ropeway, year, afraid, like, villager, leave, dream, true短语:between...and, come true 句型:there is It is easy to do sth.2.学生能够读文章,理解文章的主题思想,能获取细节信息。能力目标1.同学能掌握英语文章的阅读技巧。2.同学能通过课堂的阅读活动提高英语阅读能力。情感目标通过阅读这些内容,学生们能感受到贫困地区学生们上学过程的艰难,努力学习。教学重难点重点 帮助同学们读懂文章的内容,理解主题思想 帮助同学们理解掌握新单词,短语和句型的意思和用法。难点如何让学生们积极的参与讨论并表达自己的观点。主要教学步骤Step 1: Lead-in(1)   At the beginning of the class, greet the class with a smile. (2)the teacher will show some pictures of some special modes of transportation, such as taking a boat, taking a cable car, etc. Ask  students Have you ever taken these? Where can you see these special vehicles? Talk about these special modes of transportation.After 3 minutessome students will be invited to share their answers. The teacher will give comments on their ideas.Step2:PresentationThe teacher show the picture in 2b, ask students to look at the picture and the title of the passage in 2b, and guess what the passage is about. Step3:Reading(1)Ask students to read the passage quickly to get the main idea and underline these words, phrases and sentences they don't know. Then let  them check their predictions.(2)The teacher explains the meaning and usage of these new words, phrases and sentences. The teacher must ensure that all students can understand and master them. Then invite some students to talk about the topic of this passage. Ask students to look at the four questions. Then read the passage carefully and ten minutes will be given to find the answers. After reading,some students will be invited to answer these questions, and the teacher will give comments on their answers.Then check the answers.(3)Ask students to look at the five sentences in 3c, and read the passage again, After reading, complete the sentences with words from the passage. Then check the answers. (4)Group workDivide the students into groups and ask them to discuss whether the villagers' dreams can come true, and give their reasons.After the discussion, invite several groups to share their views for the whole class.
