(2)the teacher will show some pictures of some special modes of transportation, such as taking a boat, taking a cable car, etc. Ask  students “Have you ever taken these? Where can you see these special vehicles? Talk about these special modes of transportation”.After 3 minutes，some students will be invited to share their answers. The teacher will give comments on their ideas.Step2:PresentationThe teacher show the picture in 2b, ask students to look at the picture and the title of the passage in 2b, and guess what the passage is about. Step3:Reading(1)Ask students to read the passage quickly to get the main idea and underline these words, phrases and sentences they don't know. Then let  them check their predictions.(2)The teacher explains the meaning and usage of these new words, phrases and sentences. The teacher must ensure that all students can understand and master them. Then invite some students to talk about the topic of this passage. Ask students to look at the four questions. Then read the passage carefully and ten minutes will be given to find the answers. After reading,some students will be invited to answer these questions, and the teacher will give comments on their answers.Then check the answers.(3)Ask students to look at the five sentences in 3c, and read the passage again, After reading, complete the sentences with words from the passage. Then check the answers. (4)Group workDivide the students into groups and ask them to discuss whether the villagers' dreams can come true, and give their reasons.After the discussion, invite several groups to share their views for the whole class.
