    【教材分析】
    本单元话题涉及谈论过去的性格、外貌、特点及喜好等,借此学习used t ...这一特有的用来表述过去经历和习惯的语言结构。Sectin A 3a-3c阅读描述了一个性格腼腆的小姑娘实现自我完善成为流行歌星的故事,属于人物专访,是典型的叙事性文体。文章首先介绍篇章人物背景,其次介绍主人翁的变化或成就,最后概况说主人翁给读者带来的经验或启迪。在拓展语言知识、发展技能及阅读策略的同时,向学生传递出关注自我发展和自我完善的重要性。
    【Teaching Aims】
    I.Knwledge Aim
    Master the key wrds and phrases,such as deal with, dare t sing, private time, give up, make it t the tp.
    II. Ability Object
    Learn t find the key sentences and guess the wrds’ meaning in the passage, train students’ integrating skills by discvery methd, grup cmmunicatin methd.
    III. Mral Object
    Students can understand things are in cnstant develpment and change f principle, learn t keep psitive.
    【Key and difficult Pints】
    1. Master the key wrds and target language in the passage.
    2. Obtain infrmatin t imprve reading ability by reading the passage.
    3. Talk abut what yu used t be afraid f and what yu are still afraid f by using the target language.
    【Teaching Aids】
    PPT, vide, chalks, blackbard.
    【Teaching Prcedure】
    Step 1: Leading-in
    Enjy a sng‘Fall in Lve’, and shw a picture f the singer.
    T: Is she utging?
    S: Yes, she is.
    T: Des she dare t sing in frnt f crwds?
    S: Yes, she des.
    Then the teacher shws anther picture f the singer, and asks”can yu guess what did she used t be like?”
    S1: She used t be shy.
    Step 2: Predictin
    Shw the title f the passage and ask students t guess what the passage mainly talk abut.
    Step3: Fast Reading
    Read the passage quickly and match the main ideas with each paragraph. (when students give the answers, they shuld tell me where the answers are frm)
    Step4: Careful Reading
    1.read the first paragraph, and answer the questins.
    1)What did she use t be like?
    2)Hw did she deal with her shyness?
    3) What’s she like nw?
    Tip: Ways f guessing (猜) the meaning f the new wrds and phrases.
    2.Read the secnd paragraph, and fill in the chart.

    Step5: Pst-reading
    1.Make an interview, ne student act as Candy,the ther student act as the interviewer. Rle play the cnversatin.

    3. Prverbs
    1) Where there is a will, there is a way.
