教学重难点：
重点：理解短文内容，掌握并能正确运用短文中的重点词汇和句型。
难点：用英语介绍你喜欢的旅游景点。
教学方法:
1、自主预习：学生在课前使用电脑自己搜集有关巨石阵的相关知识。
2、采用任务型教学方式（Task-based Learning)进行教学。
3、让学生分组讨论，培养学生小组合作的能力和自主学习的能力。

本节课是单元里的阅读课，内容是英国巨石阵，教学目标是让学生掌握文章的主要知识点，能运用阅读技巧，解决文章提出的问题，并能在教师指导下归纳阅读篇章的中心，能用自己的语言简单描述巨石阵，同时培养学生对大自然的热爱之情和对事物的探索精神。
对于课本中的内容，学生理解得比较充分，基本完成了各项任务。但在阅读课外篇章时，由于短文里的生词较多，学生在内容理解上存在一定的困难，导致在最后讲述时，有些语言不太通顺、内容不太准确。因此，今后教学中一定要加大学生的阅读量，这样既能增加他们的词汇量，又能逐步提升他们的阅读技巧。
