Step 1. Warming up:
Read and observe the sentences in language practice. Find some rules and include them.
step2.Work in pairs.
- Go through the table in Part 1.
- Work in pairs to ask and answer freely.
step3.Rewrite.
- Rewrite the sentences and read them together to consolidate the frequency adverbs.
- Do some exercises to consolidate them.
- Make their own sentences with the frequency adverbs.
step4.Complete the sentences.
1. Complete the sentences in Part 4 by themselves.
2.Check answers each other, then read their answers loud in class in pairs.
3.Do some exercises to consolidate would like and let’s.
4.Make their own sentences with would like and let’s.
Step 5. Read and check.
- Read each email and check the true sentences beside one by one.
- Read the emails together, find some keys and sum them up.
Stetp 6. Around the world.
Go through the passages of around the world to learn something about birthday presents.
Step 7. Moduel task .
- Work in pairs. Ask and answer questions about each other’s birthday party to finish Part 6.
- Describe your plans for your partner’s birthday party.
Step 8. Have a quick test.
Have a quick test to consolidate the words and expressions in Module 8.
Step 9.Exercises
Do some exercises in class to consolidate the frequency adverbs and the Simple
Tense. Encouragement should be given.

1.Write your plans for your partner’s birthday party and ask them to guess what your partner is.
