Warming-up1. Free talking  Ask the students what day it is today. This Sunday is Mother’s Day. Tell them to spend more time with their family and love their mother.2. Show students two pictures and ask: Look at these two pictures carefully and say what they think is strange.3. Elicit descriptions from the whole class to help them revise past on-goings.Step 2. Pre-reading  1. Ask the students if they know the rabbit and think where they saw it before. 2. Elicit some ideas from the students. 3. Tell them that I know it from a video.4. Let’s watch a video and say something about the video.5. Show some pictures and ask the students to talk ab some characters in the video.Step 3. While-reading1. Skim the passage:(get the main ideas) After talking, ask them to imagine if they meet each other,what will happen? Discuss and tell me the possibility. Now ask them to skim the passage and get the main idea of the whole passage. Ask them to match the main idea of each paragraph.Fast reading:(number the events in the correct order)     Read the sentences with the class.Ask the students to try to order the sentences.     Tell them to read the passage quickly and scan for the key information.Ask them to underline and number the sentences when they find them.     Check the answers with the whole class and give them encouragement.Careful reading:(answer the questions) Paragraph 1     Read Para.1 by themselves and answer the question:Was Alice interested in her sister’s book? How do you know?     Ask students to find out the sentence that proves it.(2) Paragraph 2 Ask students to read Paragraph 2,then find out the words that proves the rabbit was different. Ask a student to be “a  little teacher” to check  the answers.     Answer the question:(Where did the rabbit go?) and ask them to underline it.(3) Paragraph 3 Let the students  answer these questions  after reading Paragrap3.1) What did Alice fall down?2) Did Alice see anything?3) What was Alice doing while she was falling? Ask them to find out these sentences to understand them better.5. Fill in the blanks Ask them to scan the passage and fill in the blanks. Check the answers one by one.6. Challenge timeAsk them to look at the pictures and number the pictures in the correct order.7.Retell the story  Try to use one sentence to describe the pictures,using the key words and expression. If necessary,offer them help. Try to retell the story together,using some connected words:one day...next...then...finallyStep 4. Post-reading 1. Ask students to imagine:”If you were a director,how do you make a good movie?2. Put students into groups and let them discuss.3. Invite a student to be a director and then try to act out the play.(They can add their own words and expression.)4. Give them encouragement.(A ticket to the movie theatre)5. Ask the students to imagine what will happen next and elicit some ideas.Step 5. Summary1. If we want to know more about the story,we should read more books.2. Tell students a book can give us a lot:It tells us how to be a good person.It helps us understand people better.It makes us know the world better.It makes us think about our life. It cheers people up.It improves our language skills. It Step 6. Homework Imagine what will happen after Alice opened the small door then write a short passage.(60 字左右)  Look at the pictures and talk about the differences.       Watch the video and say something about it.Talk about the characters and guess what willhappen.  Skim the passage and get the main ideas.   Read and number the events in the correct order.     Read para.1 and answer the question,then find out the sentence that proves it. Read para.2 and find out the difference,then answer the questions.   Read para.3 and answer the questions and find out the sentences.  Fill in the blanks.  Look at the pictures and number them.  Retell the story:try to join the sentences withOne day... It was carrying a watch.3.It was standing on its back legs.    One day… Next … Then … Finally…sit… with…        read a bookhave nothing to do Once or twice…without pictures or conversatio-nsSuddenly…. run by   hear…saythen take…out ofget uprun across…  see... go downgo down after itfall downland on        Teachingreflection通过这节公开课,我对于公开课有了新的认识,一堂成功的公开课,不仅要求老师具备过硬的教学水平,还要有基于学生核心素养提升的教学设计。课堂上,老师除了合理地使用多媒体等现代教学手段外,还要处理好教学的各个环节,整体把握,细节精雕,统筹处理!本节课有成功之处,也有不足之处。成功之处:1.合理运用图片,视频,充分调动了学生的学习兴趣,学生参与度很高,课堂气氛很好。而且,每个环节,层层深入,由浅入深,由易到难,大部分学生都能跟上课堂进度。2.各环节衔接较好,由点到面,深入浅出,有详有略,重点突出,所设计的活动也能提升学生不同方面的能力,特别是最后一环节的Action中,真实环境的创设,为学生发挥想象力做了充分的准备,学生也表演得很形象。这节课适应大部分学生,课堂普及面广。不足之处:1.个别环节处理不当,时间把握不准,与原定的计划有所偏差,但不影响整体的效果。2.师生活动开展得不错,生生活动,相对而言略少,今后要注意引导学生与学生之间的对话,让课堂充分体现以学生为中心的理念。3.语言知识的学习部分不详细,个别问题探讨得不够深入,有的知识点未覆盖。在今后的工作和学习中,我仍要认真学习优秀教师的先进经验,不断提高自己的业务水平,上好每一节课,争做一名优秀的中学教师。
