学习目标:
1.学习并掌握生词:journey, book, park, outside, however, cost.
2.学习最高级级,进一步掌握形容词,副词加-est 和most 的用法。
3.能够使用形容词,副词的最高级形式给他人提些关于旅行的建议。
教学过程:
Step 1. Warming up

Listen and chant with the tape. ( The fastest way to go)
【设计意图】以Chant的方式,复习上节课学过的最高级;同时做到与学生互动,调动学生积极性。
Step 2. Lead--in

Read the new words three times.

There are four ways to travel from London to Amsterdam. The first _______

提问引入主题法:以问句形式作为小标题,点出文章主题,引人入胜。

【设计意图】这个任务的设计是为了在学生进行了快速阅读和仔细阅读的训练后,通过复述进一步巩固文章内容。掌握文章的基本框架,是为了让学生了解书面表达的写作技巧及方法。此环节是为下一步进行写作做准备。
Step 5. Writing

Let the students compare the ways of travelling from London to Pairs.
【学生活动】
1. Work in pairs. Ask and answer about the ways of travelling. Use the information in the table.
2. Write a short passage. Use the information in Activity 5 and the passage in Activity 2 to help.
3.Show their passages to other students in the class.
【设计意图】本环节为知识的输出阶段,让学生通过对比不同交通方式的优缺点,合理选择出行方式。
Step 6 Summary and homework
Read the text in Activity 2 , and write down four important sentences.
Make up sentences with “The+比较级,the+比较级 ;the +序数词+最高级 ; as much as”
