Teaching Prcedures:
Step1: Greetings
Greet the class as usual.
Step2: Lead-in
Shw sme pictures f fairy tales, intrduce the stry briefly, and explain sme new wrds.
Step3: Listening
1. Read thrugh the list f characters with the students. Explain “hatter”, then play the tape and ask the students t listen and fcus.
2. Play the tape and ask students t number the characters in the stry in the rder.
Step4: Vcabulary
1. students cmplete Activity 4. Ask students t grup the wrds first in rder t make them remember all the wrds easily
2. students cmplete Activity5, tell them t guess the wrds and cmplete the sentences. Check the answers by asking sme students t read the sentences.
Step5: Reading and grammar
1. Ask students t read the cnversatin individually and find ut the sentences with the frm f “v-ing”.
2. Pint ut the structure: “was/were ding” is used t describe past n-ging.
3. Explain the difference between the past simple tense and past cntinuus.
4. Ask students t listen t the recrding and cmplete Activity 3.

1. Ask students t learn and remember the new wrds and expressins in this unit.
2. Read the cnversatin in activity 2 repeatedly.
