run away 逃离；跑开
run away 意为“跑开；逃跑”其中away是副词，意为“离开；远离”，常与run，g，walk，drive，ride等动词搭配。eg：They want t run away in a car. 他们想坐车逃跑。 Dn't g away.I have a questin t ask yu. 别走开。我有个问题要问你。
eg：He ran away frm schl.他逃学了。
away用作副词时，可用作be的表语。eg：Wh will lk after these children when I'm away？我走了之后，谁来照看这些孩子？
“be away ＋一段时间”，表示“离开某地一段时间”，而leave是瞬间动词，不能表示离开一段时间。eg：He was away frm schl fr tw weeks last year.去年他离开学校两周。 He left here last week.他上周离开了这里。
muse/maʊs/n.老鼠
muse 的复数形式为mice，是不规则变化。
eg：I'm afraid f the muse.我害怕老鼠。
常见的名词的不规则复数形式：man →men 男人　　　wman→ wmen 女人child →children孩子 ft→feet脚，英尺tth→teeth牙齿 gse→ geese鹅x →xen公牛
shut /ʃaʊt/v. 呼叫，喊叫
辨析 shut at 与shut t
eg: There is n need t shut.没必要喊叫。
shut 可作名词，表示“呼喊；喊叫声”。eg：I heard a distant shut. 我听到了远处的一声喊叫。
That's why...这就是……的原因
eg：That's why he gt angry with me. 那就是他对我生气的原因。 (That's why...强调结果)
That's because...意为“那是因为……”because后接的是原因。eg：That's because he didn't understand me. 那是因为他没有理解我。 (That's because...强调原因)
a secnd再一，又一。序数词前加不定冠词，不侧重顺序。
eg：He bught a secnd huse in the city. 他在这座城市里又买了一套房。
the secnd意为“第二”。 序数词前加定冠词，表示顺序。eg：Canada is the secnd largest cuntry in the wrld. 加拿大是世界上第二大国家。
