Dear Jack,

How is it going? In your email, you mentioned you are collecting information about successful people. The successful person in my mind is Zhang Dingyu, who has influenced me a lot.

Zhang Dingyu became the president of Jinyintan Hospital in 2016 and worked hard for the development of the hospital. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with ALS two years later. However, he was totally committed to his work. Especially during the outbreak of the pandemic of COVID-19, he was dedicated to helping the patients to get timely treatment and paid little attention to his own health.

He was a fighter and he was named the People’s Hero for his outstanding contribution in the prevention and control of the pandemic.
