【知识详解·记】表示感觉和知觉的系动词
在英语中, 除大家最熟悉的系动词be外, 表示感觉和知觉的动词taste, smell, feel, lk, sund也可以作系动词。它们的后面通常接形容词作表语, 说明主语的特性, 有时也通过介词like接名词。除lk之外, 其他几个动词的主语往往是物, 而不是人。
【助记】 五个表感觉和知觉的系动词分别与我们的眼、耳、口、鼻和手相关联, 如图所示:
【警示】 表示感觉和知觉的系动词和be动词不同, 其否定形式和疑问形式的构成要借助助动词dn’t, desn’t, d或des。例如: Yur vice desn’t sund gd. 你的嗓音听起来不好。
Des it smell fresh? 它闻起来新鲜吗? I dn’t feel well tday. 今天我感觉不好。(well指身体“好”时是形容词。)D they lk happy? 他们看上去高兴吗?
