    版(三年级起点)年级上册Module5 Uni1全英教学设计课题Unit1There are only nineteen crayons.教学目标To be able to listen, speak and read number 1-20.To understand and comprehend the main idea of the dialogues and be able to read aloud and act out the dialogues in this unit. To learn to use the sentence patter “there be” to talk about something exists or doesn't exist somewhere or at some time. 教学重点Students can understand the main idea of the dialogues, read aloud, and act out the dialogues using the correct voice intonation. Students can recognize and use the number 1-20.Students can correctly the sentence pattern “there be” to describe the number of people or things.教学难点The structural features ofthere be sentence pattern. 教学准备Teacher preparation: multimedia courseware, textbook recordingsStudent Preparation: Pre-class preparation教学过程1.Warm-up Activity 1)        Teacher presents number 1-20, and highlights the numbers which students often make errors. 2)        Teacher conducts game of “What’s missing?” where students need to name and spell out the missing number precisely.  2.Listen and Chant 1)        Teacher plays the video first and then leads students to read the text together.2)        After that teacher plays the video again and asks students to chant together.  3.Listen, Read and Act out 1)        Teacher arouses students’ interest by giving students background information of what they are going to hear. And Teacher asks two question of “How many” to guide students’ thinking. 2)        Teacher plays the video and randomly picks a group or an individual to answer the questions.  3)        After the second play, teacher carries close reading activity to break down the long dialogues into small phrases to help students to understand the meaning of the text.4)        Students act out the dialogues with their partners. Teacher gives feedback if necessary.  4.Key points5)        Teacher explains to students how to correctly use “there be” with different nouns. Example sentences are presented as well. 6)        Then exercises are given to students to check their understanding. 5.Listen and Say    7)        Teacher highlights the structural features of sentence patternthere be.8)        Teacher plays the text recording and students are asked to retell what they have heard.9)        Students read the whole text together.  6.Practise   10)   Students are instructed to make sentences based on the pictures given. by following the sentences given in the textbook.  板书设计 课后作业1)        The structural features of the there be sentence pattern.  2)        Use your creativity to design and make flashcards of numbers 1-20. Compare and see who does the best job.3)        Complete the synchronization exercises.教学反思In this unit, apart from the key sentence patter “there be”, there are lots of speaking tasks needed to handle as well. Teacher can make speaking task  more engaging by gamifying the learning activity, such as True/false storytelling” (Give each student a piece of paper with either “true” or “false” written on it. Each student should tell the class a story that is true or false, depending on which word they received, and the class must guess whether it’s true. To add to the activity, you can allow the other students to question the student telling the story. In this activity, teachers can only allow students to use the target learned sentence patterns.)
