Frankly speaking, the idim “锲而不舍” is ne f my favrite expressins in Chinese, which has helped me g thrugh many tugh days.
The character “锲” is a verb meaning carving with knife and “不舍” is an adverbial with a vaguely similar meaning in English: diligently and cnsistently.The fur characters were put tgether by ur wise ancestrs and then a philsphy f handling matters when facing life challenges was brn.“锲而不舍” tells us that we are nt suppsed t cave in under the seemingly unslvable prblems but t fight against them with faith.
