whether/if 及疑问词引导的宾语从句
在句子中起宾语作用的从句叫做宾语从句。
结构: 主句+引导词+主语+谓语+其他成分。 注意: 宾语从句中的语序为陈述句语序。
1. that引导的宾语从句 当由陈述句充当宾语从句时,常由that来引导,其中that在句中没有任何实际意义,通常可以省略。 如:He knew (that) he shuld wrk hard. 2. if、 whether引导的宾语从句 如: Tm dn’t knw if / whether his grandpa liked the present. He asked me whether r nt I was cming.
当由一般疑问句充当宾语从句时,常由if或whether来引导,if或whether在句中意为“是否”。
3. wh, whm, whse, what, when, why等引导的宾语从句 如果宾语从句原来是特殊疑问句, 只需用原来的疑问词引导即可。 如:D yu knw wh has wn “Red Alert ”game? The bk will shw yu what the best CEOs knw.
1. 陈述句变为宾语从句时, 要注意人称和 时态的变化, 语序不变。 She said, “I will leave a message n the desk.” → She said she wuld leave a message n the desk.2. 一般疑问句和特殊疑问句变为宾语从句时, 也要注意人称和时态的变化, 后接陈述语序。 “Where are the tickets?” I asked him. → I asked him where the tickets are.
时态、语序、引导词学习宾从三注意:
主句若为现在时,从句时态随句意。主句若为过去时,从句也要用过去。
语序要用陈述序,切莫照般疑问句。
that引导陈述句,省与不省没关系。从句若表是否时,if、whether均可以。特殊疑问作宾语,仍用原来疑问词。
