A team of 20 people built the system in about a month. After adding a collection of about 6 million un-masked faces and a much smaller collection of masked faces, the system can correctly recognize about 95 percent of people with masks and 99.5 percent of people without masks. The facial recognition system is based on the present technologies developed over the past 10 years. Marios Savvides, a professor at Cambridge Mellon University, finds that as we get older, our faces change shape, but the area around our eyes don’t—even if we put on weight. Another company Tech5 has developed an AI system to recognize people by checking iris, the colored part of eyes, only. It doesn’t need to read all of the face below the nose.Hanwang is now selling two main kinds of products with this system. One of them performs a “multi-channel” recognition, which can recognize faces in a crowd of up to 30 people “within a second”. “With the ‘multi-channel’ recognition, the police can find out suspects(嫌疑犯)more easily.” said Huang Lei, the vice president of Hanwang. “It can be used to recognize and track people as they move around. So the police can find out where the suspects may hide.”However, the new system has trouble recognizing people wearing both a mask and sunglasses. “In this situation, all of the key facial information is lost and the recognition becomes difficult,” Huang said.56. The second paragraph is mainly about ______.A. when the research work started    B. how the system is developedC. what the system works for     D. how well the system works57. Tech5’s AI system recognizes people with masks by checking the ______.A. shape of face       B. size of noseC. weight of body       D. colored part of eye58. The underlined word “track” means ______.A. warn    B. serve    C. follow    D. fight59. What can we know about the new system from the last paragraph?A. It works well all the time.B. It still needs to be improved.C. It can’t keep all facial information.D. It can recognize faces with glasses.60. Where is the passage most likely from?A. But in fact, in some situations, robots have already done better than doctors in finding illness. So could there be a place for robots in education too?British education expert Anthony Seldon thinks so. He even believes that by the year of 2027, robots will do the main job of the classroom while teachers will be like helpers. They will collect information of each student and provide more personal help. Smart robots will read students’ faces, actions and maybe even thoughts. It’s still not sure if robots will replace teachers in the near future. One thing is for certain, though. A robot teacher is better than no teacher at all. In some parts of the world, there aren’t enough teachers. As a result, 9-16 percent of children under the age of 14 don’t go to school. That problem could be partly solved by robots because they can teach anywhere and won’t get tired.Perhaps the question is not “Will robots replace teachers?” but “How can robots help teachers?”. Teachers waste a lot of time doing non-teaching work, including more than 11 hours a week marking homework. If robots could cut the time teachers spend marking homework and writing reports, teachers would have more time and energy for the parts of the job humans do best.76. Who thinks there can be a place for robots in education?
