All the classes, engaged in the preparation for the competition, went to adapt the music, conduct the stage design and rehearse to the piano accompaniment over and over again. Then came the big day---July 1st, when all the participants impressed the judges and audience with appropriate costumes, amazing team spirit and splendid power of their shows. Our class was eventually awarded the first prize in the finals after fierce competition. There is no denying that China is becoming more and more prosperous and influential under the leadership of our Party. I am so proud of being a Chinese. Meanwhile, I think we should spare no effort to shoulder the burden and be a responsible youth. 读后续写参考范文:Paragraph 1: Finally, after struggling for a minute or two, I still got putted underwater. I told myself I should never give up. Then I pulled the weed again with great efforts. The weed finally broke. I swam back to the surface to take a deep breath. I was exhausted and shouted for help. The two young men who were racing each other in canoes saw me and raced towards me. By the time they reached me, I had been already unconscious.Paragraph 2: When I woke up, I was in an empty room lying on a bed. It was not until a doctor came into the room that I realized that I was in a hospital. Jimmy and Bob told me the two young men brought me to the shore and sent me to the hospital. After a few minutes, my parents with half angry and half worried faces walked in. My parents scolded me for running out of the house secretly but were also glad that I was not seriously injured. I will never forget that terrifying experience. Neither will I ever want to show off again. All I want to do now is thank the two kind men who have saved my life. 听力测试原文:(Text 1)W: I’m going to make a fruit salad for dessert.M: Delicious! But in the meantime, what about this report?M: Well, if you really don’t have enough time, I think you should ask for an extension on the deadline.(Text 10)W: I had a special experience last night. My car engine suddenly stopped in the middle of a deserted road. When I got out of my car to check the engine, I accidentally locked myself out of my car! I was very nervous and scared, given that the road was so dark and quiet. The only thing I could do was sit by the road and hope someone would come by and help me. Luckily, a man drove by after about 20 minutes. He stopped and asked if he could lend a hand. He let me use his cell phone to call the rescue service. He even waited with me, keeping me company until the truck for rescue service arrived. What a wonderful, helpful man! Before he left, I offered to pay him for helping me, but he refused. He said it was his pleasure to help out a lady in trouble. All I could do was thank him over and over again. If it had not been for him, I could have been in real trouble. I asked him for his number and promised to meet him and have dinner sometime. I got very lucky that night, thanks to the stranger.
