Over a perid f 14 years' study, Heli Rutti frm the Nrwegian Plar Institute fund that ffshre female bears were in a better health, having greater bdy weight, than female bears by the sea, but n average their levels f pllutants called PFASs are 33 percent higher.
PFASs are used t make industrial prducts which are pisnus and degrade (降解)very slwly. These pllutants find their way t the Arctic thrugh air, where they fall in snw and gradually add up in the ice.
