    It was 12 ’clck. Anne and Lingling were tired. Dngdng and Peter were hungry. They asked the girls, “Can we have lunch?” “OK!” the girls said. S they sat dwn t enjy their lunch.
    Listen t the tape and read after it.
    Lingling tk ut the sandwiches and Cke frm the picnic basket. “I have sme ckies. My mther made them yesterday,” said Anne. Peter gave them an apple each. “These sweet apples are frm my garden,” Peter said. “This is a nice picnic!” said Dngdng.
    Prepare a verb wrd library and a nun wrd library n the blackbard, such as “bring, eat, have, brrw, buy”, “a bttle f range juice, candy, chclate, Cke”, etc. The teacher can chse “bring” and thrw the ball t ne f the students. The student then chses a nun and makes a sentence with “bring” and the chsen nun. After that, he/she chses a verb and thrws the ball t anther student.
