一、教材分析：
“Merry Christmas” 是六年级英语教材“新路径英语”（Bk 7）第九课的内容。本课内容与西方最重要的节日——圣诞节联系非常紧密，所以学生很感兴趣。
二、学情分析：
六年级的学生已经有了比较扎实的英语基础。大部分同学已经养成了良好的英语学习习惯，有了一定的知识储备。能够根据单词写法、音标进行简单的拼读。他们已经接触过名词的单复数形式，能基本说出其组成结构。
三、教学目标:
(一)、情感态度与价值观
1. 培养良好的学习英语的习惯，激发学习英语的兴趣。
2. 通过自主学习和合作学习，提高学习的能力。
(二)、过程与方法
1. 从图片和课件入手，让学生对所学单词初步进行感知。在教师指导下进行自主拼读，提高自主学习的能力。
2. 掌握运用句型的能力，能够自主对话。
(三)、知识与技能
1. 掌握本课中出现的新单词，并能运用这些单词进行正确的问答。
2. 掌握本课中出现的四个疑问句，并能正确回答。
四,教学重、难点：
1. 本课中出现的单词和句型。
2. 部分重点单词的拼读和拼写。
3. 能够区分对事物和人物提问的不同疑问词。
五，教学资源：
（1）单词图片；
（2）多媒体课件；
（3）录音机及磁带。
六，教学过程：
Step ne Warming-up/Revisin
1. T shw the sng “ Jingle bells” and the Christmas tree.
2. T intrduce herself t the pupils.
3. T play CAI, pupils lk at the screen and d the exercises. Then T and pupils check the answers tgether.
Step tw Learning wrds and sentences.
1.T play CAI, then teach the wrds “a lantern” “a firecracker”.
2.T play CAI, pupils ask and answer. “What’s this/that? It’s ___.”
3.T shw a present and teach the wrd . Then T ask a pupil t pen it. They are markers. T teach the wrd and the sentences:
“What are these? They are markers.”
T play CAI, pupils chse the wrds and make dialgues.
T shw three persns “Father Christmas” “Little Red Riding Hd” “Snw White”, then T teach them ne by ne.
老师举例，让学生自己区分“What”和“Wh”.
A game: T say answers, pupils chse the crrect questins.
7. T play CAI , a clwn ( clwns ). T shw ghsts / witches, then pupils make sentences. E.g. Wh are they? They are clwns.

T shw the pictures, pupils read them ne by ne.
T tell pupils hw t play it: pupil A shuld stand behind the thers. T shw a picture, pupil B ask, pupil A guess what picture it is.
