want意为“想要”，后面既可以接名词, 也可以接动词不定式，want t d sth.意为“想要做某事”。“D yu want+某物?”意为“你想要……吗?”，用于询问对方是否想要某物，其肯定回答是“Yes , I d./Yes，please.”; 否定回答是“N, I dn’t./N, thank yu.”。

sme用于肯定句中，意思是“一些;若干”，后面接可数名词复数或不可数名词。sme还可用在一般疑问句中，表示希望得到对方的肯定回复或者表示建议、请求等。

( 1) 可数名词复数形式的变化有以下几种情况:一般情况在词尾加-s，map→maps by→bys以-s, -sh, -x, -ch结尾的名词，在词尾加-es，watch→watches以辅音字母加y结尾的名词，先变y为i，再加-es，family→families以-f或-fe结尾的名词，先变f或fe为v，再加-es，leaf →leaves knife→knives有结尾的名词，有生命的物体加-es，没生命的物体加-s，z→zs
