Procedure | 1. Review Review Section A by choosing the best choice. 2. Lead In Step 1:Answer a question:If you always forget the new words, what can you do? Step 2:Invite students to answer the questions and lead into the topic. 3. Key Words Step1:Guess the key words from the picture. Step 2:Get the words’ meaning from the pictures and parts of speech→pronunciation→spelling→making words→other word shape. Step 3:Change the shape of the words and give some tips about the words. Click the question at first and make the students’ think about it, and then check the answer. Step 4:Read the key words together. Step 5:Distinguish the part of speech, ask the students what the part speech is and then click the word. Learn the words and phrases of Section B reading in advance in order to have enough to analyze the text material of reading. 4. Phrases Step 1:Learn the phrases’ meaning according to the different parts of speech, in order to learn their usage and give some tips about it. 5. Activities Activity One: 1a Learning English can be difficult. What things are difficult for you? Read the list. Check (√) the statements that are true for you. Activity Two: 1c Paul finds it difficult to learn English. Listen and complete the learning challenges he talks about. Activity Three: 1d Listen again.Complete the solutions. Activity Four: Pair Work. 1e Role-play conversations using the information in 1c and 1d. 6. Summary Step 1:Review the key word. Students speak out the answer and read together . Step 2:Review the phrase. Students speak out the answer and read together. Students will focus on some key points like the usage of prep., in order to reduce the mistakes. 7. Practices Practice One:Choose the best choice. Practice Two:Fill in the blanks with the correct forms. |
