Nw researchers at MIT have figured ut a clever way，allwing them t see what was written in ne letter and learn hw the letter was lcked—all withut damaging the letter in any way．They first use a pwerful X­ray scanner t create a 3D image f the letter，including where the ink is．The scanner can shw inky areas f the letters in great detail as inks back then had tiny bits f metal in them．Then they use cmputers t figure ut hw the letter was flded by transfrming the flding prcess int math frmulas (公式)．
