    The Fourth Period课时目标1.能听懂、理解Mike收到的邀请函并能回答后面的问题完成听力练习。2.学会写回复函培养学生的写作能力。3.会给单词归类掌握元音字母和双元音字母在单词中的发音规则。4.学唱歌谣培养学生学习英语的乐趣。5.能理解“Story time”部分的趣味故事感受英语在实际情景中的运用。重点难点重点1.能听懂、理解Mike收到的邀请函并能回答后面的问题,完成听力练习。2.学会写回复函培养学生的写作能力。3.会给单词归类掌握元音字母和双元音字母在单词中的发音规则。难点1.提升学生的听、说、读、写技巧。2.培养学生积极学习英语的兴趣。教学准备1.教师准备教学过程中所需的挂图和课件。2.教师准备与教材相配套的教学录音带。教学步骤教学内容一、课前热身(Warm-up)打招呼。二、课前准备(Preview)教师问学生:“How tall are you now?How tall were you in Grade 1? How heavy are you now?  How heavy were you at 7 years old?” 学生回答后教师说:“This is our last term.You’ve known many teachers and classmates.  Who’s  your  best  friend?  Who’s  your  favourite  teacher?What’s your favourite class?”三、新课呈现(Presentation)1.Reading. [来源:学科网ZXXK](1)介绍对话情景。T:Boys and girls, You’re students in Grade 6 now.You will leave school  soon and study in a middle school.  What shall we do before graduation引导学生学习词组“farewell party”。三、新课呈现(Presentation) (续)T:Mike received an invitation from his school.It is about the farewell party.Please read it to know when, where and what will the farewell party be held. (2)教师用句型“I can…”说指令全班学生做相应的动作。教师可以说下面的指令:I can sing. I can play the piano. I can jump high. (3)播放本部分的教学录音学生听完录音后回答邀请函下面的问题。T: What are they going to do at the party?Ss: They will draw pictures and sing songs.  They are going to give prizes for the best pictures.  And they will have cake,candy and juice, too. T: Who is going to the party?Ss:…(4)再次播放教学录音全班学生跟录音读对话提醒学生注意模仿录音中的语音、语调。2.Writing. (1)学写回复函。T:When you receive an invitation letter, remember to read the whole letter to find out some really important information,  especially the date,  place,occasion and contact.Then,a short reply is always necessary.  Because it is a basic social manner. Well,the next thing is to check your schedule to decide whether to accept the invitation.  When you finally make up your mind, it is time to write your reply. [来源:学科网ZXXK]You have to tell the host if you are going to the party.  If you go,  what you are going to do at the party. 学生按照要求试着写一封回复函。教师巡视提醒学生注意回复函的格式。(2)教学英语请柬的写法。教师出示一张空白的英语请柬然后与学生交流讨论如:T:  In your opinion, when should we have the farewell party? (What’s  the date?What time?) Where should we have the party?  What should we eat at the party?在讨论的过程中将内容逐项填到空白请柬上。让学生自己设计生日宴会邀请函或者新年邀请函等。3.Group the words. (1)教师说:“The farewell party is coming.We made invitations.So we can  invite our parents and teachers to the party. We made a performance plan.So  we can give performances at the party. T:It’s the end of the term.  It’s the end of students’primary school life.All of us have to say goodbye.  Let’s sing a song. 教师播放两遍歌曲录音学生有节奏地拍手小声跟录音唱歌曲。师生一起跟录音唱歌曲。2.Ways to saygoodbye. (1)教师接着故事说:“Take care is one of the ways to say goodbye. Do you know any other ways to say goodbye?”启发学生。(2)教师讲解学生用书上的告别用语可再适当补充人们分别时常说的话语。3.Story time. (1)教师出示教学挂图先让学生通读一遍将不会的划下来。教师向学生展示“Story time”部分的教学挂图指着最后一幅图中的Zoom和Zip说:“Look at the picture. Zoom and Zip are sad. They are saying goodbye  to each other.Now Let’s see what happened.”学生同桌之间合作阅读然后教师提出问题:“Where is Zip going?Is this good news for zoom?What grade is Zip going to be in?” (2)教师放录音学生先听一遍录音。(3)再听一遍录音学生跟读故事。(4)学生分角色朗读同桌之间分角色朗读。五、课堂小结(Summary)师生一起总结本节课所学的词汇和句型。 RecycleThe Fourth PeriodGood luckWrite soon.Have a good tripKeep in touch.Take care.
