教学过程

1. Warm-up & lead-in

(1) Teacher leads students to sing the song together.

(Students can warm up by sing the song. Students can also activate the memorized vocabulary in their minds and master the synthesis and expression of new content.)

2. Presentation

(1) Ask students to observe the picture and guess the content of the picture. Think about the question:“What do people do at Christmas?”.

(2) Listen to the tape of activity 1 and activity 2, and students will watch it with questions.

(3) Listen to the tape for the second time, students answer the questions.

(This part presents the content of this lesson to the students, and assigns the tasks after learning this lesson to the students, so that the students can study purposefully, and let the students know the tasks of this lesson and what they can do in English after learning this lesson.)

(4) Listen to the tape for the third time and practice reading the text.

(5) Listen to the tape and imitate the pronunciation and intonation.

3. Practice

(1)  Take out the prepared tools and materials and make a simple new year card. Then send gifts and greetings to each other.

(2)  Present the pictures one by one, and describe the activities of the people in the pictures according to the pictures and questions.

(3)  Look at the picture and have a question and answer conversation in pairs.

(Through making the new year card and practising describe the picture, students comprehensively apply the knowledge of  “We have ...” to complete the task of this lesson.)

An important purpose of learning English is to use English for communication. Communication between two people is an important form of activities. Therefore, two people activities should be carried out frequently in language training. Dialogue between two people is the most common two person activity. Students are required to have a question and answer dialogue on a topic, a picture, a person, etc. students can also be required to develop activities in which one gives instructions and the other does. They can also carry out discussions, debates, discussions and other activities between the two.
