教学过程

1. Warm-up & lead-in

(1) Teacher leads students to sing the song together.

(Students can warm up by singing the song. Students can also activate the memorized vocabulary in their minds and master the synthesis and expression of new content.)

2. Presentation

(1) Ask students to observe the picture and think about “What are the cats going to do?”.

(2) Listen to the tape of activity 1, and students will watch it with questions.

(3) Listen to the tape for the second time, students answer the questions.

(4) Ask students to observe the picture and think about “What are they going to do?”.

(5) Listen to the tape of activity 2, and students will watch it with questions.

(6) Listen to the tape for the second time, students answer the questions.

(This part presents the content of this lesson to the students, and assigns the tasks after learning this lesson to the students, so that the students can study purposefully, and let the students know the tasks of this lesson and what they can do in English after learning this lesson.)

(4) Follow the text (the third time) and practice reading the text.

3. Practice

(2) Look at the picture and say the English names of the animals.Follow the example and look at the picture to describe the pictures with “We’re going to...”.

(3) Students in the group take out word cards or pictures showing the place, time, mode of transportation and activities. Other students in the group practice using the be going to structure to say sentences.

(Through picture description, students practice and comprehensively apply the knowledge of “ I’m going to...”“We’re going to...” to complete the task of this lesson.)

教学反思

The students are about ten years old. At this stage, children's attention is very unstable and not lasting. It is difficult to pay attention to the same thing for a long time, and they are easy to be attracted by new and exciting things. So they are more interested in the animation in the courseware and the audio AIDS. So in the classroom teaching, I will help students learn words and texts through some pictures, situations, rhythmic songs and games.
