2.Write a passage on how to make your school greener and give reasons. Use the list you have made in Activity 7 to help you. Use because, so and so that. (Activity 8)

(1)学生参照活动7所列出的单子，个体活动，完成写作。

(2)教师要提醒学生恰当使用because、so和so that衔接语句，并适时给予指导。

(3)同伴交流，并提出修改建议。

(4)教师点名，学生在全班展示自己的作文。

环节说明:活动7和8主要培养学生就保护环境这一话题展开写作的能力。活动7是完成活动8 的基础，按照要求，先将可以节约能源的做法列出单子，然后借助because、so和so that,写成一篇短文。

本节课活动的目的是复习本单元的重点词汇，训练学生的写作能力。学生在写作上有待提高，主要是学生对本单元语言点掌握不牢造成的。
