There was confidence on their faces. This was their last exam—then on to graduation (毕业)and jobs. After four years of college, they felt ready to see the world.
The exam, they knew, would be easy. The professor said they could bring any books or notes they wanted. They went into the room. The professor gave out the papers. And smiles became bigger as the students saw there were only five essay questions.
Three hours passed. The professor began to collect the papers. The students no longer looked confident. Instead, they looked scared. The professor asked, “How many of you finished all five questions?”
Not a hand was raised.
“How many answered four? ”

“ One, then? ”

1-10 ACDDB ACBCD
1.A 考查固定搭配,look forward to doing sth. 同时我们初中阶段还学过这样的用法有be/get used to doing和prefer doing A to doing B。故选A
同样的最高级标志还有 in/ among/ one of 句型。
4.D 考查It’s句型。It’s +adj for sb. to do sth.
副词easily修饰前面的work out,后面than提示这里用比较级,故选C。
11-20 CBA AC ADBBC
11. C

13. A

标志词还有for用了多久,ever曾经,never从不,already已经,yet仍未,so far目前为止。
16.A
On 在... during 在...期间。
17.D

use...to do 固定搭配,用...

“To my utter shock, there wasn't much money inside.”

根据原文 “To raise money, she posted videos on the Internet, showing how beavers build dams and how she saved wild animals.” AC无提到依据,根据原文第三段 “She also livestreamed (直播) to show the beavers eating the shrubs she planted.”
所以选A。
(C)
38. A 39.C 40. A 41.C
定位到第二段的 “It’s a reading pen with a smart camera and an AI system. After scanning (扫描)a page of text with the click of a button (点击按钮), it can read the text aloud to the user.” 故选A。
我们定位到原文 “They create honey directly from plants.” 根据 “This kind of honey tastes just like the real one, and it is healthy, too.”
根据原文 “ Through petting Purrble, you will know your own feelings better and learn how to feel calm yourself.” 根据“ This furrybear-like toy has 9 sensors. It has a quick “heartbeat” and can respond to your touch.” C根据 “ As you hold and pet it, its heartbeat slows.”
根据原文第一段 “Every year, our magazine lists the 3 best inventions based on their creativity and impact (影响)on our lives. What about this year? Let's take a look.”
D
42. A 43.C 44.C 45.B
根据原文 “ Some of them are new, like latiao”可知某些食物对外国人是新的,A对。 C表述错误,原文应该是 “Chinese people who live abroad introduced most of these food.”
Roujiamo ..P19---23.Did China invent the hamburger?Read this story and find out some interesting facts about roujiamo. This book will give you a better understanding of Chinese foods.
45.B.细节理解题,根据第二段this may explain why foreigners are getting more and more interested inthem and love eating them. This book will give you a better understanding of Chinese foods.
46. B 47.D 48. E 49. A 50.C
46.B由后文 “ there are more than thousands of posts about disc games, talking about things like rules and dress codes.
47.D 由后文的 “It is easy for anyone to throw a disc almost anywhere they want to, from a field to a beach. No special skills are needed.”
48.E 由后文的 “ There are no judges (裁判).You must overcome your desire to cheat (作弊).”
49.A 这里根据后文 “They had great fun with them in the 1930s. In 1948, a man named Walter made a plastic disc with his partner Warren”可知这说的是飞盘在以前就很流行。
50. C 根据 “ In 1948, a man named Walter made a plastic disc with his partner Warren”可知前面1948年,一个名叫沃尔特的人和他的搭档沃伦制作了一张塑料飞盘。

Dear Eric,
How are you? The Culture Festival of our school was held last Friday. There were many meaningful activities. The first one was paper cutting, which turned to be the most popular one. We had a chance to learn how to cut the paper into different shapes and learnt more about the Chinese culture. The Cantonese Opera Competition was also an interesting activity. Students took an active part in it and showed their talent. The music was beautiful and the clothing was colorful. What impressed us greatly was the book fair. We read lots of English classic and improved our interest in reading. My favourite activity is Picture Show. It presented the changes taken place in Guangzhou.
As for me, I think this festival was a great success and I hope more people can join us next year.
