Then write some time on the board, ask “Is it morning, afternoon, evening or night ? ” Then say “choose and write key words after the each time” then check in class.  Step2 Ask Ss to look at key expressions and read after the recording. Then have Ss look at four pictures carefully and tell what they see in the picturesPlay the dialogues , ask Ss to number the pictures. Then check in class by asking Ss to tell their reasons.  Step3  Exercise 3Ask Ss to read four sentences, then put them into Chinese to make sure if Ss understand the sentences. After that play the recording for Ss to listen and tick the correct words. Then check in class.   Step4Write “Hello” on the board. Ask “What is the opposite of  “Hello”? Elicit “ Goodbye” and write it on the board. Then show the photo of the Beatles at the bottom of the page. Ask “ who are they?  “Do you know the song “ Hello, Goodbye”?  then ask Ss to match the lines from the song in groups of four.
