Write the names of the family members on the board as the students say them Play the recording for students to listen and read the key words about family members after it. Step2Say: you’ve known my family members now. Then show a photo of Kevin and say this is our new friend, Kevin. Do you want to know his family members? Then ask them to look at Kevin’s family photos. First give an example, then ask the students to read the text and label the photos, then check in class. Step3Play the recording for the students to read. Then give them 2 minutes to read the text, Step4Show some pictures with jobs, then do “ask and answer” with students like this:What does he do? He’s a doctor.Write the names of the key jobs on the board as the students say them. Then play the recording for students to listen and read the key words about jobs after it. Step5 Ask the students to complete the dialogue in Exercise 2 according to the four photos on the left.
