1.课前准备:调试光盘与课件、给学生分组、为学生布置预习作业等;
2.教具学具:光盘、大卡片等。
教学过程
Step1. Getting Ready
1.Ask Ss t discuss their favrite bks and genres.
2.Get Ss t talk where bks can be btained r purchased.
3.Match the writers(1-4) with the bk titles (a-d) accrding t the encyclpedic knwledge.
Step2. Reading
1.Let students talk abut what bks they have read, which ne is the favrite, and the reasn.
2. Get students t read the text, and find what bks are mentined in the text.
3. Read the passages and fill in the infrmatin tables abut bks.
4. Let students read the passages and answer the questins in the exercise 3.
5. Ask students t listen and read the passages after the speaker and underline the wrds that yu culdn’t understand clearly with pencils.
6. Students wrk in pairs t talk abut the Chinese meaning f the wrds and sentences that yu underlined.
7. Get students t read the three texts t find which bk each sentence in exercise 3 is abut.

Get students t wrk in pairs t intrduce the three classics in their wn wrds.
Example:
The Adventures f Tm Sawyer was ne f Mark Twain’s bks. The main characters f the bk were an rphan named Tm and a by named Huckleberry Finn. The bk includes dialgues that shw hw language was spken at the time. It has remained a ppular and imprtant bk since it was first published in 1876.
Step6. Grammar
1. Let students t find the similar parts frm the tw sentences.
2. Ask students t find mre similar sentences in the texts.
3. Students bserve the sentences and draw a cnclusin.
4.Teach students the structures f the passive md at Simple Future, Simple Past, and Present Perfect.
5.Intrduce the transfrmatin between the subjective md and the passive md and let students d the relevant drills.
