    魏桂英,北京市延庆县井庄乡三司村农家妇女,她历尽艰辛,把全部身心献给家乡荒山绿化事业,是个有胆、有识、有心计的女人,也许是因为她的名字与宋朝大破天门阵的女英雄穆桂英同名,人们都戏称她穆桂英。三司村山场面积大,土壤贫脊,十年九旱,特别是村南的4090亩荒山,一到雨季,当地老百姓所说的“龙扒掌”随处可见,泥石流给三司人带来的多是无奈和叹息。魏桂英1984年开始承包荒山,植树造林,多次荣获全国及北京市绿化植树模范。20多年来,没用国家一分钱贷款,绿化荒山5500亩,植树100多万棵。
