    Teaching prcedures:
    I. Pre-task preparatin
    Review the text, invite Ss t recite.
    Have a dictatin: sme wrds and phrases
    1. Lk and say
    Intrduce sentence “This is a pht f + name.” t students by shwing a picture f Miss Gu. Then ask students t describe sme ther phts.

    2. Think and talk
    Review “have been t”, “haven’t been t” by shwing pictures and dialgue.
    S1: Have yu been t Hng Kng?
    S2: Yes, I have been t Hng Kng.
    N, I haven’t been t Hng Kng.
    Give students sme pictures f places, ask them t practice the dialgue in pairs like this:
    S1: Have yu been t …yet?
    S2: Yes, I have already been t ….
    N, I haven’t been t ….yet.
    既然要操练这一句型,那么正好温习一下already、yet的使用。
    3. A game: Little turists
    Ask students t play a game. One shuld tell a place he /she has been t. The ther student shuld repeat what he/she said and plus anther different place, like this:
    S1: I have been t Beijing.
    S2: I have been t Beijing and Tianjin.
    S3: I have been t Beijing Tianjin and Hainan Island.
    S4: I have been t Beijing Tianjin, Hainan Island and…
    S5: …
    II. While-task prcedure
    1. Lk, think and talk
    Shw pictures t students and ask them t describe the pictures by using the present cntinuus tense. Intrduce the structure: 板书be(am, is, are)+ v.ing. Then ask students t fill in the blanks accrding t the pictures and then make sentences by themselves.
    1) What are they ding in the picture?
    They are reading bks in the park.
    2) What are they ding in the picture?
    They are cycling in the park.
    3) What are they ding in the picture?
    They are playing ftball in the park.

    1) Play the cassette, students listen and repeat the first part.

    2) Ask students t describe the secnd part accrding t the picture first. Then play the cassette, students listen and repeat.
    3) Play the cassette, students listen, repeat the third part and answer the questins.
