| 1.Warming-up: Jobs song a)Have Ss listen to the jobs song, and try to find out what different jobs people are doing in the song. Write down the names of jobs.
b)Play the song several times for Ss to follow.
2.Clap in Rhyme: show the students how to do it.
| Listen and try to find out what different jobs people are doing in the song. Read the names of jobs together.
Match people with different things they do at work.
Establish a steady, even beat—one-two-three-four, one-two-three-four—by clapping hands.

While-task procedure
| 1. Introduce new vocabulary items with pictures: an architect; a removal man; a construction company; a removal company; a secretary. Show them the pictures. 2. Read and Learn: a) Play the recording. Have Ss listen and finish the following table.
b)Ask some questions to check understanding. Suggested Questions for teachers: What is Mrs. Wang? What does she do? What does Miss Tang draw? So what is Miss Tang’s job? … c)Full-Class Repetition: ask students to try to repeat the sentences.
d)Group Repetition: ask students read in groups.
3. Pair work: Have Ss talk in pairs about these people’s jobs.
4. Group conversation: Divide the Ss into groups of four and ask students to introduce themselves.
5. Have Ss look at the screen and retell about the people’s jobs.
