Ask individual students about their neighbourhood:e.g. Are there any restaurants in your neighbourhood?    Is there a bank?   Play the cassette for Listen and say    Ask questions about the dialogue:e.g. Where has Kitty just moved to?   Is her new flat in the city centre?   Is it noisy?   Is there much traffic?   Are there any shops/restaurants?   Are there any trees/flower/birds?   Are there any beaches?  Review the simple past forms: live/lived; get up/got up;Then ask students to complete the sentences with the words.     Play the cassette for Say and out Say Ask: How did Kitty and Ben get to school when they lived in the city centre?How do they get there now?  Ask questions to elicit the past/pre forms:e.g. Where do you live?/Where did you live 10 years ago? What time do you get up?/What time did you get up today?    Do you go to the library at weekends?/Did you go to the library last Saturday?  Give the students time to study Look, ask and answer.The teacher asks the questions about the first picture.    Students do pair work.     The students listen and repeat with their books closed. The students answer the questions about the dialogue:    The students say the simple past forms: live/lived; get up/got up;   The students answer the questions        The students answer the questions to elicit the past/pre forms  The students then practice with the other pictures in pairs. 10       5      5     5   5     10 HomeworkRead and recite the words on Word Box.Read all the passage in Unit 1. 后记:1。强调正在进行时的用法以及动词的现在分词形式。      2。最后可以给学生一幅大图,用正在进行时来说图。
