Step 2 Presentatin the new wrds
1. relatin n. 关系；联系；交往
e.g. Their relatin seemed quite clse. 他们的关系看起来很亲密。
2. argue v. 争吵；争论
e.g. The cuple began t argue abut the child’s educatin.
那对夫妇开始就孩子的教育问题争吵。
3. prper adj. 正确的；恰当的
e.g. It’s nt prper t visit a friend t late in the evening.
太晚了，去看朋友不合适。
4. nervus adj. 焦虑的；担忧的
e.g. Dn’t be nervus. It is just a small test. 不要紧张。就是个小测试而已。
5. clear adj. 清楚易懂的；晴朗的
e.g. The sun shne ut f a clear sky. 天空晴朗，阳光灿烂。

1) instead adv. 代替；反而；却

如果我们不能去爬华山，我们就去西安游玩。
辨析：
instead 是副词，常置于句子末尾。
instead f 是介词短语，后接名词、代词、动名词等。
例如：
Last summer I went t Qingda.
This summer I’m ging t Dalian instead.
去年夏天我去了青岛。今年夏天我要去大连。
Instead f ging t Qingda I’m ging t Dalian this year.
今年我打算去大连，而不去青岛。
2) whatever prn. 任何；无论什么 相当于 n matter what
e.g. Whatever I suggest, he always disagrees.
无论我提什么建议，他都不同意。

ffer v. 主动提出；自愿给予
ffer侧重主动或愿意给予，主动提出做某事。常用结构：ffer sb. sth. 或ffer t d sth.
