★The reading passage f Welcme Unit is a narrative, which describes the ccurrence, develpment and ending f a specific event, including peple, time, place and events.★Text structure usually cnsists f fur parts: beginning, develpment, climax and ending. A narrative is usually develped chrnlgically. ★Themes are generally related t family, friendship, affectin, self-mtivatin, struggle against difficulties, etc. ★Narrative techniques are mstly based n time span and spatial rder.★A narrative usually fcuses n the relatinship between characters r events, the authr's attitude and the purpse f writing.
