一、现在进行时的被动语态的基本结构

*The fast food delivery service,  new and emerging,  is being chased by many food business tycoons.

新兴快餐外卖服务正受到很多餐饮巨头的追捧。

*E-tickets are now being made available for travel on normal-speed trains.

如今, 普通速度的火车也可以使用电子票了。

*The two-week art exhibition is being held in our gym.

→ Is the two-week art exhibition being held in our gym? (一般疑问句)

→Where is the two-week art exhibition being held? (特殊疑问句)

二、现在进行时的被动语态的基本用法

1. 表示此刻正在被进行的动作, 常与now, look等词连用。

*Our manager is being interviewed by a reporter in the next meeting room now.

现在我们的经理正在隔壁的会议室接受一位记者的采访。

2. 表示现阶段正在被进行的动作, 但此动作不一定在此时此刻发生。

*Forests are being cut down to make way for crops or farm animals,  especially in less developed countries.

森林砍伐主要是为了种植庄稼或饲养家畜, 特别是在欠发达国家。

3. 表示按计划主语将要承受的某个动作。

*A birthday party is being held tonight.

今晚将要举行一场生日聚会。

4. 表示经常的被动行为, 常和always, often, constantly等词连用(表示某种感情色彩)。

*Tom is always being praised by the teacher.

汤姆总是受到老师的表扬。

三、使用现在进行时的被动语态应注意的问题

1. 在现在进行时的被动语态中be(am/is/are)为第一助动词, being为第二助动词, 缺一不可, 且位置不可互换。

*Trees on the hills have been cut down and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.

山上的树木已经被砍伐, 废水正不断地排入河中。

2. 当take care of, look after, talk about, think of等动词与介词构成的短语用于现在进行时的被动语态时, 其中的介词不可省略。

*We are glad to see that those old people are being taken good care of now.

我们很高兴看到那些老人现在正被很好地照料。

3. “be(am/is/are)+under/in+n. ”有时可相当于现在进行时的被动语态。

*The introduction of new advanced techniques in the factory is under discussion today.

=The introduction of new advanced techniques in the factory is being discussed today.

在工厂采用新的先进技术的问题是今天的议题。

4. 有时表“状态, 心理活动, 情感”等的动词, 常用在一般现在时的被动语态中表示“正在进行”。

*The runaway of the traffic accident is wanted by the police.

警方正在通缉交通事故的逃逸者。
