  dear adj. (用于信函抬头的名字或头衔前）亲爱的，尊敬的。

2) We have some interesting and fun things for you this term.  

本学期我们为大家安排了一些有趣又好玩的活动。

① term “学期”，this term 表示“本学期”。英语中“学年”称作school year.

② interesting 和fun是近义词，但语意稍有差别。interesting的含义是

“有思想的；有吸引力的”，fun的含义是“逗乐的；有趣的；使人快乐的”。E.g.:

I find this book interesting.   我发现这本书很有意思。

This game looks fun.   这个游戏看起来好玩。

3) Have a good time! 在课文中一个表示祝福的句子，意为“祝你玩得高兴！”。

 have a good time也是一个固定词组，意为“玩得高兴；过得愉快”，相当于

have fun或enjoy oneself (oneself随主语的变化而变化)。E.g.:

Eric has a good time there every day. =Eric has fun there every day.

=Eric enjoys himself there every day.  埃里克在那里每天过得都很愉快。
