Grammar Fcus
1. always: adv. 总是，一直 She always wears a red dress and white shes.
2. usually: adv. 通常，常常 ften: adv. 常常 We usually/ ften d hmewrk after schl. She usually/ ften watches TV n weekends.
3. smetimes: adv. 有时 Smetimes I wrk in the day and smetimes at night.4. hardly ever: 几乎很少， 几乎不 I hardly ever play cmputer games.5. never: adv. 从不，决不 She never stps talking.

频度副词在句中的位置。always, usually, ften, smetimes, seldm, hardly, hardly ever, never在句中多位于助动词/be/情态动词之后，实义动词之前。
一般用hw ften…对频度副词进行询问。
1. 一般现在时常与 always, usually, ften, smetimes, hardly ever, never, twice a mnth 等表示频率的时 间状语连用。
例：我经常放学后写家庭作业。 I always d my hmewrk after schl.
2. hardly ever 意为“几乎从不”，常置于句中。
She calls me.
She hardly ever swims.
她几乎从不给我打电话。
3. hardly与hard 的意义及用法辨析
hardly副词，“几乎不，几乎没有”，表示否定意义，同义短语为almst nt。含有hardly的句子是否定句。可修饰动词或与ever连用构成词组。
例：我几乎什么都看不见。 I can hardly see.
② hard 作副词，“努力地，猛烈地”，修饰 动词；作形容词，“困难的，硬的”，修饰名词。
例：雨下得很大。
It is raining hard.
